Meet Our Iowa City Movers
Collin, owner, comes born and raised from Racine, Wisconsin on the coast of Lake Michigan. He graduated from Coe College in May 2019 with a degree in physics, which explains his knack for packing and moving so effectively! When he’s not running this business, you can find him running, biking, and swimming — after all he does have triathlons to train for.
Corbin Faidley, a 2019 graduate from Coe College grew up in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. While at Coe College near Iowa City IA, he studied computer science and business administration. He spent all four years as a member of the swim team. Currently living in Cedar Rapids, Corbin is an application developer and age group swim coach for a local swim club.
Joshua Werges, from small town Garnavillo, Iowa is a current senior at the University of Iowa in Iowa City IA studying economics and political science. Having graduated from a small high school class, he’s great at getting to know our customers through caring conversation. Knowing the importance of unwinding, he enjoys spending his free time outdoors exploring the local trails and parks. After graduating in May, Josh wants to work in the banking industry while eventually working his way to the NY Stock Exchange.
Ethan, a junior at Coe College near Iowa City IA, is studying biochemistry and neuroscience. In addition to using his smarts to help move you quickly and efficiently, he helps students at the Coe College Writing Center. After graduation, Ethan would like to continue his education by pursuing a graduate degree in medicine or another science related field. For this summer, Ethan is actually trying out his own College Movers location near Mason City, IA!
Bruno, from São Paulo, Brazil is a junior at Coe College studying physics and business management. As a result of his studies, he knows ALL the angles — he’s a pro mover. When Bruno isn’t moving boxes, he’s in the lab doing glass research. After he graduates, he wants to go to graduate school to continue his education in material science.
Griffin, from Damascus, Maryland a Junior at Coe College, is currently studying psychology and organizational science. Trying to build his future career, this past summer, Griffin interned with the US Senate Sergeant at Arms in Washington, D.C. In addition to working as a College Mover, Griffin is a ROTC cadet with the Mighty Hawkeye Battalion and likes to spend his weekends snowboarding in Colorado and Utah.
Stephen a recent Coe College graduate (May 2019) and one of our quirkiest personalities on staff. Originally from Chicago, IL, he majored in economics and wants to work as a financial advisor or financial analyst around Iowa City IA. Right now, he’s working with us to pay off his student loans. Whether you need help moving to your next home or asking for financial advice, Stephen’s your guy!
Jake is a senior at Coe College from Byron, IL majoring in kinesiology & business. As a member of the Coe football team, Jake has discovered a passion for lifting. He wants to to continue this passion by becoming a strength and conditioning coach. His dream job would be to work with the University of Iowa football team, but until then, we’re lucky to have him as a mover for us.
Kenni, our bookkeeper, is a Coloradan at heart, and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Public Health in May 2019. She got her first introduction to College Movers when she had a piano moved into her apartment. Since, she has become very involved and works hard to make sure our company runs smoothly. When she’s not keeping track of our expenses, or running errands for the business, she’s mostly likely outside with her dog, Maya. She plans to attend nursing school next year to get her RN and become a traveling nurse.
Joshua is a senior at Coe College majoring in physics from Des Moines, Iowa. After graduating in May, Josh plans to further his education at graduate school so he can work toward becoming a materials engineer. Besides using his physics major to correctly pack a moving truck, Josh uses his visualization skills regularly. In fact, he can solve a Rubiks Cube in less than a minute
Christian, from Aiea, Hawaii on the island of Oahu, graduated from Coe College in May 2019. Christian interns with Unity Point in the IT department, and is using this experience to strengthen his application to law school where he plans to become a Cyber Law attorney.
Caleb, originally from Uganda, came to Iowa for school and to live in a new place. He is currently a freshman nursing major at Coe College near Iowa City IA. Caleb decided to go into the nursing field because of the lack of healthcare he experienced in Uganda. After finishing school, he wants to go back to Uganda and bring healthcare to the people.
